Hasn’t Christmas come around early?!? As the busyness of the season kicks into gear, we’ve come up with eight ideas to make your Christmas and holiday time with family the most memorable yet.

  1. Christmas Light Drive – Stay up late with kids and go on a special tour of your neighbourhood. You can find your local lighting extravaganzas at www.christmaslightsearch.com.au.

  2. Park Picnic – Why not change it up? A Christmas lunch in the park is an excellent way to bring your loved ones together, just don’t forget the bug spray!

  3. City Tour – All capital cities around Australia have festive activities and exhibits to go and visit. Make a day of it and wrestle through the city streets to find these amazing sights.

  4. Give Back – Get the family together and consider how you can give back this Christmas. It can be as simple as making a donation or volunteering as a family; many are in need of help this Christmas.

  5. Invite others to Christmas – We all know of someone who will be spending Christmas alone this year. Christmas is for EVERYONE, and it is such a special time, invite them along, make their day, enjoy the community!

  6. Christmas Carols – Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without attending a local carols event. A great time to celebrate the birth of our Saviour in community with others.

  7. Start a new Tradition – Even the simplest of things can make Christmas memorable, set the table with the cutlery reversed, have hot chocolate with marshmallows on Christmas Eve. Whatever it is, make it fun.

  8. Remember the reason – Often it’s too easy to get caught up in the moment and miss out on the real reason for all this joy and celebration. Set aside time for your family to reflect on why Christmas is so special.

We hope you have a blessed Christmas and look forward to providing you with more quality, family friendly content next year.
