Journey To Us Marriage Retreats

Every marriage was made for more than just getting by – it was made reflect the kind of love God has for us – safe, faithful, and unconditional.

We understand it’s not always easy to set aside the time. But investing a weekend in your marriage sends ripples through every part of your life – your children, your home, your work, even your own wellbeing.

Designed by the Focus on the Family Marriage Institute, Journey To Us is an invitation to explore what a healthy marriage looks like, and how to grow towards it – together.

Over each weekend retreat, you will be guided through what it looks like to:

  • Build a marriage that feels a safe and secure
  • Manage conflict in healthy ways
  • Reorientate your marriage according to God’s perfect plan and design
  • Communicate in a way that deepends connection and intimacy
  • Function as a team, making decisions that work for you both

Come take the journey back to each other.

David and Hannah Sollberger have been married for 22 years, and have four children aged 15-21. They have lived most of their married life in Melbourne, with a year in Echuca (country Victoria) in 2008 and a year in Switzerland in 2022 – and have loved the journey that is marriage and parenting.

David has worked as an osteopath for 23 years, a sports chaplain for 10 years, and has studied counselling. With a love for helping people, he currently works as a wellbeing practitioner in a school while still volunteering as a sports chaplain – all alongside his role with Focus on the Family Australia. Outside of work, he loves sport, especially netball and running.

Hannah has worn many hats over the years – receptionist, full-time mum, and early childhood educator – and has a gift for connecting with people, whether it’s bringing out the best in kids or listening well to adults. She currently works in an art warehouse where she gets to talk about her passion of art all day and paint some evenings.

Together, David and Hannah have run kids ministry and marriage courses as a couple, and they care deeply about seeing marriages grow strong and families thrive in Christ.

Capped at 20 couples per retreat – be sure to reserve your place!
